We usually provide these for planning applications to build houses, flats, apartments, hotels or any space where people are expected to rest and sleep. We have experience in providing assessments for developments of over 100 apartments, developments of 20 houses and we have done many single dwelling applications. The assessment includes day and night time noise measurements. Measurement of the LAeq dB, LAFmax dB (night), recommendations to control internal noise inside habitable spaces and an analysis of the data to justify the recommendations. We usually provide these for planning applications to build or expand commercial premises such as factories, warehouses, yards, and for the installation of extractor fans, air conditioning units (Commercial or domestic) and plant including generators and external cooling systems. We have experience in providing BS4142 assessments for infrastructure developments, ports, factories, warehouses, restaurants, takeaways and plant nurseries. The assessment can be in the day and night time depending on your opening or plant operating time.. Measurement of the LAeq dB, LAF90dB are taken for both residual and background noiser levels. Other measurement parameters as may be required. The specific noise can be obtained by measurement, calculation by deduction or from noise mdoeling. We use sound plan to model noise when required.
