As noise consultants we provide noise survey and monitoring services as well as solutions to control the spread of noise or vibrations.

Noise survey reports are needed for planning approval or for installed plant or equipment. We apply the relevant British Standard such as BS4142 to provide the noise report that you need.

We are happy to work with the local authority to focus on the particular needs of the project and the areas of most concern.

Noise Monitoring

We can monitor compliance to noise and vibration restrictions and assist with compliance. to regulatory and local authority guidelines. This includes;

Noise at Work (To HSE standards).measurements, recommendations and report

Planning noise survey and reports, for residential developments such as BS8233 assessments

Machine noise impact assessment for example BS4142 noise reports. This includes measurement of the specific and background noise levels. 

Noise modelling to show the spread of noise across an area

Industrial Noise & Vibration Control

Industrial noise comes in a variety of shapes and sizes. We can measure the impact of noise from industrial sources. This can be at existing receptors of the noise and on proposed new schemes such as housing that will be impacted by industrial noise..

This includes;

• Measuing the background noise at the location of the receptor
• Where the industrial nosie is already in existence, measure noise from the plant or warehouse
• Where the factory, warehouse or plant is not yet in operation, calculate or model the noise
• Apply BS4142 to assess the likely noise impact
• Provide a full report

We can also discuss and recommend mitigation if required.
